It's Friday! Happy B-day Drake!!!

Today is a gorgeous day!  We are excited b/c it's Drake's b-day and he is coming to Conway to celebrate with us!  The guys are going to swim and eat at Fuji Japanese Steakhouse.  The girls are not invited and we are going to have our own fun.

Yesterday was a good day.  Mo headed home to make food for her church's womens event, Rock this House.  Sophie missed her so much when she went to bed last night.  Sophie usually sleeps in the room with Mo and they tell bedtime stories every night.  Sophie loves it!

I picked the kids up for school and we went home and ate cupcakes.  The cupcake store here in town brought by samples for us to try.  The kids and I always watch cupcake wars and so we had a cupcake judging contest.  When we did this we split each cupcake into 3 pieces and judged them on texture, taste, and appearance.  Eli liked the plain vanilla cupcake with sprinkles.  There were also chocolate balls.  Sophie and I liked those best!  They always wondered what chocolate ganoche icing was and they do not like it!

Sophie had soccer practice yesterday.  It has been so hot having practice from 4:30 to 6 that a couple of girls have to take a break during practice.  Sophie has really hustled!  She really controls the ball well and is working on shooting when she has it in front of the goal.  She is really fast and gets to the ball first a lot of the time.  I'm very proud of her.  Everyone has signed up for the league now and there are 9 new girls.  So the girls that have played together in the past are staying together.  They are 9 & 10 year olds.  And the new girls will play together.  They are 8 & 9 year olds.  They will all practice together and we are so thankful for their coach taking them!  He is great!

Eli went to baseball practice with Joey.  Sophie was so hot that she wanted to go home after soccer.  But the boys got to practice on the Hendrix field.  I would have liked to see.  Eli and Dax jumped in the pool to cool off after practice.  Then Eli came in to take his shower and get his homework done.

Sophie and I watched DVR's of Kate plus 8.  We've watched it since the beginning and this is the last season.  It makes me so thankful for our family.  God has blessed us in so many ways!
