Today was a great day!  The kids woke up and got dressed quickly for school.  The traffic was backed up while waiting to be dropped off at the door of the school.  I was thinking about driving safely when I feel a kiss on my cheek.  My baby boy give the sweetest kisses!  Makes my day.  Then I get another sweet kiss from S!  I let them out of the car and they walk in school side by side.  I'll always remember how sweet S is to make sure her brother makes it to class with the care that Mommy would have given her when I walked her in each day.  So sweet.

I worked til 3 when I was excited to pick them up from school.  They always wish I were there earlier but I explain that I have been - I was just waiting in the car line.  When S got in the car she said that the only fun thing today was reading a book.  Eli asks, what about recess?

When we get home they play.  I make eli cereal and S ate cookies and grapes.  Then I tell her to call Mo.  Mo surprises her by telling her that she is on her way to see us.  It makes S so happy.  We watched tv until she arrived!  Then we ate dinner together. 

Joey and I needed to come work late.  So we got the kids ready for bed.  I love it b/c they want me to tuck them in at night.  I tucked Eli & Emmy in tight.  He fell right to sleep.  S came and cuddled with Daddy for 5 minutes and it made her day special!  Daddy loves to cuddle S!  Then she went to bed w/Mo telling stories and talking until they fall asleep.  She tells me that she loves it when Mo is here!
